The Walkie Talkie (20 Fenchurch St) Print

20 Fenchurch Street skyscraper, nicknamed the Walkie Talkie, divided Londoners into two camps of it’s lovers and haters. It’s unusual facade acted as a concave mirror and created a ‘death ray’ which melted cars and fried eggs during summer 2003. Architect Rafael Viñoly blamed the global warming, but was able to find solution. Building has a popular viewing platform on the top called The Sky Garden.
