London’s Air Ambulance Helicopter G-HEMS

London Air Ambulance used this AS365N Daulphin (G-HEMS) helicopter between 1989 and 2000. Daulphin’s protected tail rotor (known to geeks as fenestron) made it perfect for safe landing in narrow London streets. The air service was sponsored by Express Newspapers for years and helicopter wore their logo. In 2000, the helicopter was replaced by MD 902 Explorer.

Part of the profit from sales of this print goes to support the London Air Ambulance.
