Daily Express Building Print

Daily Express newspapers used it’s new building as a promotion of its greatness. While under construction, the structure carried a banner shouting ‘Britain’s most modern building for Britain’s most modern newspaper’. It is located on Fleet Street, home of British journalism in the 20th century (now replaced by Canary Wharf). The building got its younger siblings in Manchester and Glasgow, sharing the unmistakable black glass facade and chrome details. Architects were Ellis & Clark with Owen Williams.
